December: Memorial Church, Stanford



It was a dark and rainy and VERY cold night in Palo Alto for our annual visit to Stanford's stunning Memorial Church, but the church was full to the rafters of people who come every year.

    We would brave snow and sleet to "unwrap" our annual family Christmas present--Chanticleer's holiday concert at Stanford's Memorial Church!

    I wait for Biebl's Ave Maria, and my husband makes sure that our favorite bass is still on deck (but you lost most of your handlebar moustache!).

    We loved the program's second half this year--but we still miss Joseph striding down center aisle singing Jerulem in the Morning.

    Chanticleer, your sound is heavenly. Bless you all....
