Tonight we returned to Amsterdam's famed Concertgebouw where we performed our Orlando di Lasso program in the chamber hall. It's a pretty oval room, with a lovely clear sound and very audience friendly - the whole oval is surrounded by places to sit and get refreshment. Orlando is a very specific program for a specific audience. Nobody comes who is not interested in this kind of music, which makes for a very concentrated audience and a very intimate experience.
