After rehearsal we heard from Dr. Aaron Smith, director of choral activities at the Naval Academy who had written to us to see if we could join forces during the group's California tour.
Dr. Smith told us that Of the 4000+ plus midshipmen at the Naval Academy, over 1000 are involved in musical activities, and that the Men's Glee Club has been in existence for 149 years.
