A wonderful audience greeted us in the beautiful Dzintari Concert Hall which is roofed but open on the sides, allowing a welcome breath of fresh air on stage, and northern summer light. Many people came from close-by Riga where we had last appeared in the winter of 2006. Dinner with Inese Galante, Inna Davidova, Reinis Druvietis and others from the festival ended a day which had also included swimming in the cool calm sea among other delights. Hard to imagine there are more planes to take tomorrow!
